What is Bespoke Grants?

Bespoke Grants helps a nonprofit find private foundations that already fund work like its own. You describe your mission, service area and budget, and it ranks funders using their grant history from public IRS filings (Form 990-PF and Form 990 Schedule I), with a short reason for each match. It also lists open federal and foundation requests for proposals, drafts letters of inquiry, keeps a library of your standard text that it can shorten or lengthen for each funder, and tracks every prospect in a six-stage pipeline that syncs deadlines to Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar.

What it costs

There is one paid plan, All access, at $19 a month billed monthly, with every feature and no per-seat fee. You can cancel at any time; paid access runs to the end of the billing period. Before paying, you can try one free personalized search with no card, which shows three funder matches; each account gets that preview once, and empty results or errors do not use it up. If it is not a fit, Bespoke Grants offers a full refund within 30 days of the first paid charge when you email [email protected]. There is no separate nonprofit discount, because the product is built for nonprofits.

Before you rely on it

  • Grant history is a starting point. Matches are based on what a foundation paid in past years. Many private foundations do not accept unsolicited proposals, so read each funder’s current guidelines before you send a letter.
  • Know where your text goes. Its privacy policy says searches and letter drafts are sent to Anthropic’s Claude models, that data is stored with Supabase in the United States, and that it does not sell your information. Keep donor and client personal details out of your profile and drafts.
  • It is a young product. Its founder is Nate Dorka, the site does not name a company, and its terms are governed by Delaware law. Keep copies of letters you draft and your own list of deadlines.
  • Check AI drafts. Letters of inquiry are drafted by AI from your profile and stored text. Read every figure and claim before it goes to a funder.
